YVONNE HOLLENBECK is the top award-winning cowgirl poet residing in the state of South Dakota. A native of Gordon, Nebraska, Hollenbeck feels most at home on the wide open land of her cattle ranch from which she takes the wealth of her subject matter. She has been named the Top Female Poet by the Western Music Association in consecutive years, received the Will Rogers Medallion Award and numerous other accolades. Hollenbeck has published four books of poetry: Blossoms Beneath the Snow, A Tribute to the Pioneer Ranchwomen; Where Prairie Flowers Bloom; and From My Window. Her work has also been included in several anthologies and musical poetic CD compilations.
